How much does home healthcare cost?
The cost of home healthcare services from Silver Caregivers varies depending on several factors, including the specific services you need, the number of hours of care required per day or week, and the level of expertise required from the caregiver. Because each client’s unique situation, we encourage you to schedule a free in-home consultation. During this consultation, we will assess your needs, discuss your options, and provide a personalized estimate of the cost of care. This will allow you to make an informed decision about whether home healthcare is right for you.
What is the difference between hourly and live-in care?

Silver Caregivers offers both hourly and live-in care options to meet a variety of needs:

  • Hourly Care: With hourly care, a caregiver assists a specified number of hours per day or week. This option is ideal for individuals who need help with specific tasks, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, or medication reminders, but do not require constant supervision. The cost of hourly care is typically based on an hourly rate.
  • Live-In Care: With live-in care, a caregiver resides in the client’s home and assists the client around the clock. This option is best suited for individuals who need continuous supervision and support due to chronic illness, disability, or cognitive impairment. Live-in caregivers typically have a designated sleep period. The cost of live-in care is generally a flat daily or weekly rate, which is often more cost-effective than round-the-clock hourly care for those needing constant assistance. We can help you determine which option is best suited for your needs and budget during a free consultation.
Will my insurance cover home healthcare?

Whether your insurance will cover home healthcare services depends on your specific insurance plan and the type of care you require.

  • Medicaid: Medicaid coverage for home care varies by state. In Florida, Medicaid may cover certain home healthcare services for eligible individuals.
  • Private Insurance: Many private insurance plans offer some coverage for home care, but the extent of coverage can vary widely.
